An aerial video shows a Nord Stream 1 pipeline leak in Danish waters

An image has been released by the Danish military showing a bubbling of gas at the surface of the Baltic Sea following “unprecedented” damage to the Nord Stream pipelines.

An investigation into possible sabotage of Nord Stream 1 has been launched by the Swedish police. The announcement comes after Swedish seismologists detected what they described as two explosions near the leak sites in the Baltic Sea.

The Polish prime minister, Mateusz Morawiecki, called the leaks “an act of sabotage” pertaining to Ukraine’s next escalation.
