Fatu Camara, a seasoned Gambian Journalist was chosen by a University in the United States of America to share her story as a journalist as well as African Woman. Fatu who is the CEO of the Gambia’s biggest online media, The Fatu Network posted on her popular platform.
“I was invited yesterday by Dr. Baboucar Jobe, Professor of Africana students at Stetson University in Deland Florida to speak to his students about my experiences as a Journalist and an African Woman. The students were very curious about learning about Africa, particularly The Gambia. “
She stated that the session was a well-received presentation and a great interactive class while Thanking Dr. Jobe for the invitation.
Fatu Camara further revealed that her next presentation is at Columbia University, a private Ivy League research University in New York City courtesy of The Media Defense Foundation.
“Looking forward to it in May insha’Allah.”
Fatu proved herself as a competent journalist ,earning her recognition beyond the borders of The Gambia.
