According to Gambinos Stars Africa announces that their player Basirou Badjie has made the move from their academy to the Slovakian top club MSK Zilina. Basirou is 18 years old, wing back and comes from Mandinari,the Gambia.
” This makes us particularly proud because he is a son of our village where Gambinos is located.
He was also part of the first group of talents who moved into the academy after the completion of the sports facilities. Our holistic approach of education, football and character training has shaped Basirou and he has now taken the first step towards realising his dream. He can be described as exemplary, always motivated and has great mentality. He always wanted to learn and worked very hard. This hard work is now paying off for the player.
Because of his young age, Basirou can play with his new team in the UEFA Youth League with the U19s and thus compete with the best youth players in Europe.
