SENIOR OFFICERS OF THE GAF BAGS MASTER’S DEGREE FROM THE ROYAL COLLEGE OF HIGHER MILITARY EDUCATION
The Gambia Armed Forces congratulates Colonel Lamin K. Sanyang on the successful completion of a course at the Royal College of Higher Military Education (CREMS), Kenitra, Kingdom of Morocco. Colonel Sanyang was among the participants of the 26th Higher Defence Course and the 60th Staff Course, which graduated on Thursday, 11 June 2026. He graduated with a Master’s Degree in National Defence.
He succeeded Colonel Bunja Darboe, who was the first Gambian Senior Military Officer to graduate from the College in 2025. Colonel Darboe also graduated with a Master’s Degree in National Defence.
Both ceremonies were presided over by the Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, on behalf of His Majesty King Muhammed VI of Morocco.
The Royal College of Higher Military Education in Kenitra, Morocco, is the country’s premier institution for senior military leadership. Established to train top-tier officers from the Royal Armed Forces and partner nations, the institution has evolved into a major strategic hub for African and international defence cooperation.
