General Yusuf Alsan, head of The Turkish Gendarmerie Special Force, was warmly received by the Deputy Inspector General of Police Momodou Sowe and senior police officers at the Police Headquarters in Banjul.
Upon welcoming General Yusuf to the Office of The Inspector General of Police, General Abdoulie Sanyang expressed appreciation for the Turkish Police and extended a cordial welcome. The two Generals engaged in discussions regarding areas of support, focusing on training and logistics for The Gambia Police Force.
Commissioner Sambujang Fatty, the head of Police Policy, Planning, and Training of GPF, delivered presentations on the strategy and work plan of The Gambia Police.
The General and his delegates are scheduled to visit various police units and installations
