His Excellency Mohammed B. S. Jallow, Vice President of The Gambia, today received the 13th Executive Council of the Law Studentsโ€™ Association (LSA) of the University of The Gambia at State House, Banjul.

Led by LSA President Ebrima Jarju, the students highlighted key academic and social needs โ€” including internship opportunities, scholarship packages, sponsorship for Law Week, and the revival of the UTG Law Clinic.

They also raised concerns over the facultyโ€™s relocation to Faraba Bantang, requesting more buses and student accommodation to ease the transition.

VP Jallow welcomed the delegation, praised their proactive spirit, and assured them of governmentโ€™s commitment to support their initiatives.

The meeting marked a renewed partnership between government and the next generation of legal minds, as the Vice President reaffirmed efforts to strengthen higher education and empower Gambian youth.
