It is believed that Sadio Mane will be part of the Senegal squad for the World Cup in Qatar, despite suffering an injury scare on Tuesday.
Following Bayern Munich’s 6-1 win over Werder Bremen, the 30-year-old forward was taken off the pitch.
In a statement, the German champions said he had an injury “to the head of his right fibula” and would miss Schalke’s game on Saturday.
On November 21, Senegal will play the Netherlands in Group A.
