Bulock Central Youth Development Association went to the Poll to elect New Executive Committee.
Block TV has been informed that, as per the constitutional requirement, on Saturday the 4th of February 2023 Bulock Central Youth Development Association went to the Poll to elect New Executive Committee that will spearhead the association’s activities.
The Annual General Meeting was scheduled for two days; Friday and Saturday, with activities such as Drama, wrestling, nightclub fundraising, Statement, and election.
The Opening Ceremony was grace by the village authorities and representatives from different youth associations in each kabilo of Bulock.
Speaking at the opening ceremony Mr Tumani Bojang representing the Alkalo commended the association for a job well done and encourage them to work hard to bring development to the village as the government can’t do it alone.
The President of the association Mr Alhagie Badjie thank the members and the guest for honouring their invitation to grace this important of theirs, he encourages young people of the association to continue the collaboration as it will help them work effectively and efficiently.
Badjie commended other associations of the different kabilos for honouring their invitation and quickly encourage them to open their doors for future collaboration. Badjie concludes.
Giving a rundown of the association’s past activities and what they intend to do after the AGM, Secretary-General Lamin Kujabi since last year to date they have been investing in the socio-economic development of the Kabila by supporting the association’s members, organizing monthly cleansing exercises and so many more activities.
Mr Kujabi states their plans to restore the street light of the kabilo, they will meet as an executive to lay plans on what activity to embark on with budget support.
