Inspector General of Police Seedy Muktar Touray on Sunday attended the highly anticipated 2025 Jabang League final between Boston F.C. and Foni Side F.C. at Jabang Mini Stadium on Sunday evening, June 29, 2025.
The event drew a large crowd, including dignitaries, and Musicians such as Ebrima E. Jobe, Alkalo Giberil Colley, Hussain Dada, One Pac, and Chief Ousman Gaye of Old Yundum.
Foni Side F.C. capped an outstanding season by winning the knockout and league trophies. After a 0-0 draw, they triumphed 5-3 on penalties. The champions received D25,000 while runners-up Boston F.C. took home D20,000.
IGP Touray congratulated the winners for their skill and sportsmanship and praised the organisers for a successful tournament. His presence underscored the Gambia Police Forceโs commitment to community engagement and bridging the gap between the public and the police.
