Chief Inspectors of Immigration, Tijan Faal and Saikou Cham, serving as Immigration Attachees at the National Agency Against Trafficking in Persons (NAATIP), completed a four-day capacity-building training on Trafficking in Persons from the 25th to 29th August 2025 in Gaborone.
The training, organised by the International Law Enforcement Academy in Gaborone, in collaboration with the United States Homeland Security Investigations, aimed to strengthen the capacity of law enforcement officers in combating human trafficking, a rapidly evolving transnational organised crime.
The GID congratulates the officers on this significant achievement and extend gratitude to U.S. Embassy in The Gambia and National Agency against Trafficking in Persons for their continuous support and collaboration.
