During its media briefing at the National Youth Parliament’s office in Kanifing, the members of Gambians Against Looted Assets have warned the Inspector General of Police Seedy Touray that he will be responsible should anything bad happened to activitist Maimuna A. Bah who is currently on hunger strike.
Bah is currently being held in police custody at the Manjai Police Station together with Kaddy Jadama and Fallou Gallas, in a detention cell refers to as “Bambadinka.”
A total of 13 members of GALA have been arrested on Friday at the Youth Monument in Kanifing after they gathered to celebrate the movement’s one year anniversary.
Police say the gathering required a permit under the public order regulations.
