Banjul, The Gambia – December 3, 2025 — QNET strongly condemns and fully dissociates itself from the alleged cross-border scam and human trafficking case involving 26 Senegalese nationals and three others in The Gambia, as reported by some Senegalese media outlets. As a law-abiding international lifestyle and wellness company, QNET does not tolerate illegal migration, fake job scams, human trafficking, or any activity that violates the laws of The Gambia.
Despite operating a legitimate direct selling business, QNET continues to face misuse of its name and products by scammers in parts of West Africa. These bad actors deceive individuals with false promises and misrepresent the company for personal gain.
Speaking with concern for victims, Biram Fall, Deputy Chairman for QNET Sub-Saharan Africa, said:
“QNET is being deliberately misrepresented by unscrupulous individuals whose actions harm innocent people and communities. Many victims are unaware of these tactics and have limited knowledge of how the real QNET operates as a lifestyle and wellness direct selling company.”
He added that QNET is organising a Product Workshop for journalists in The Gambia this week, followed by an Expo: “We want people to see and experience our products, understand our business model, and know the truth about QNET. The media is a critical partner in helping share accurate information and counter grave misuse of our name.”
Across West Africa, QNET is strengthening its compliance operations and working closely with security agencies to stop trafficking and recruitment scams misusing its identity. Through its extensive “QNET Against Scams” campaign active in Senegal, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Burkina Faso, and Nigeria, the company continues to raise public awareness about fake job offers and fraudulent schemes. QNET reiterates that its business model is built on transparency and ethical practices, and that any form of deception, exploitation, or human trafficking is strictly prohibited.
The public is urged to verify any claim of affiliation with QNET by contacting its Compliance Hotline via WhatsApp at +233 2566 30005 or emailing network.integrity@qnet.net
