The Office of the Vice President wishes to inform the general public that His Excellency the Vice President of the Republic of The Gambia will today depart Banjul for New York, United States of America, to attend the 59th Session of the United Nations Commission on Population and Development (CPD).
The session is being held under the theme: “Population, Technology, and Research in the Context of Sustainable Development.”
His Excellency the Vice President will lead the Gambian delegation at this important global forum, which brings together world leaders, policymakers, and experts to deliberate on population dynamics and their implications for sustainable development.
The Government of The Gambia remains committed to actively participating in international platforms that advance inclusive growth, evidence-based policymaking, and sustainable development.
