Police in Busumbala are investigating a reported case of motorcycle theft reported on Monday, May 25, 2026.
Reports indicated that the owner of the motorcycle, identified as Alpha Omar Cham, parked his motorcycle, bearing registration number MC 2518 E, on the veranda on Sunday, May 24, 2026, before retiring for the night. However, upon waking the following morning, he discovered that the door to the house had been locked from the outside and the motorcycle was nowhere to be found.
The Gambia Police Force is calling on members of the public to provide any information that could assist in recovering the motorcycle and identifying those responsible for the alleged theft. Anyone with relevant information is encouraged to contact the Police on 996-8885 or 5899645.
Investigations are currently ongoing.
