The Gambia Immigration Department (GID) Female Network today commenced its Nationwide Constitutional Review Tour in the North Bank Region (NBR) as part of a three-month activity plan aimed at promoting inclusivity and improving female representation within the Department.
The initiative seeks to engage female immigration officers across all regions, raise awareness on the constitutional review process, and provide a platform for dialogue on gender inclusion, leadership, and institutional participation.
Female officers in the NBR actively participated in the engagement, sharing experiences and recommendations to strengthen womenโs involvement in decision-making processes.
The tour will continue across the country from the 10 February to 17 February 2026, reinforcing the GID Female Networkโs commitment to empowerment, unity, and inclusive representation.
