The country of Azerbaijan is currently hosting the highly anticipated World Urban Housing Forum, which has attracted the presence of the Governor of Banjul, Hon. Ebrima Jawo, and his Gambian delegation from 17th to 22nd May 2026.

Hon. Ebrima Jawo, accompanied by Hon. Amat Bah of the Ministry of Local Government and Lands, is actively participating in the forum to showcase the Gambian government’s dedication to urban development policies, sustainable housing solutions, and international collaboration on issues related to urban planning and housing progress.
