According to a news release, the Ministers of Communications and Digital Economy of the Gambia and The Federal Government of Nigeria, Hon. Ousman A. Bah and Professor Isa Ali Ibrahim (Pantami), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The MoU signed at the Communications and Digital Economy Complex, Abuja, Nigeria aims to encourage, promote and facilitate cooperation and collaboration between the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Republic of Gambia in the areas of Broadband Development, Spectrum Management, Research, and Development; Capacity Building, Internet Safety, Cyber security, Internet Governance, Infrastructure, Legal Frameworks, and Government Digital Services by the relevant laws of each Country.
