As part of efforts to strengthen community engagement on immigration regulations and compliance, the Director General of Immigration, Mr. Ebrima Mboob, and his delegation held a sensitization meeting with residents of Fatoto.
The meeting was attended by the Alkalos of Fatoto and Bolibana, Community Police Members of Koina and Nyamanarr and other local authorities. It provided a platform to address concerns on migration, documentation, and compliance to immigration regulations.
DG Mboob, with his high-powered delegation highlighted the role of local authorities in enforcing immigration laws, strengthening citizenship regulations, improving border management, and supporting alien registration. He emphasized the need for collaboration to safeguard national security and protect the integrity of national documents.
