The Barrow administration made history by inaugurating Lot 1 of the University of The Gambia. It comprises magnificent edifice for Higher Education at Faraba Banta village, with the Schools Education, Information Technology and Communication, Arts and Science, and Business and Public Administration and the Dr Badara Alieu Joof Library.
The four Schools, together can accommodate close to 3600 students, and the Library has capacity of 800 students, at a time. The university creates a conducive teaching and learning environment in developing the country’s human resource for relevant and sustainable development.
