The Border Patrol Unit of the Gambia Immigration Department (GID) at Barra has intercepted twenty-seven (27) suspected would-be migrants at the Barra-Jinack Crossing Point, today, 26th April 2026 at around 13:35.
The migrants include sixteen (16) adults and eleven (11) minors. Theyโre currently undergoing profiling and preliminary investigations at Barra Immigration Post.
The GID remains committed to disrupting clandestine irregular migration movements in The Gambia.
